“Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop!”
says Carlos Saavedra a Dream Activist
Don’t you get it Vern? This is about the biggest civil rights issue since Martin Luther King!
- Strengthens national security by allowing law enforcement to concentrate on drug traffickers and terrorists instead of chasing poor people through the desert.
- Strengthens the economy by allowing immigrant workers to pay taxes, supply the dwindling baby boomer work force, start businesses, strengthen the housing market and contribute to the economy.
- Keeps families together. An immigrant father who is deported may leave his entire family in the U.S. desperate for a way to support themselves and grow up strong Americans without a father figure.
- Provide U.S. citizens of undocumented workers the chance for an education; allow all people in this great land a chance to improve themselves and improve our country.
- Stop discrimination based upon National Origin.
- Stop discrimination based upon economic status. Being poor does not make you worth less.
The American Immigration Lawyers Association supports comprehensive immigration reform through their policy manual, or CIR, as explained by the National Immigration Law Center!
U Can Help pass comprehensive immigration reform. Let’s fix this broken system together!
The March on Washington, D.C. on March 21st 2010 was a big success! An entire nation has been awakened to the immigration problem and a workable solution. Come be part of it, civil rights applies to all people!
